The Essex Shire Horse Association has been formed to further the knowledge, understanding and love of Heavy Horses, particularly the Shire Horse. Its members annually organise various events and educational meetings for both association members and the general public.
The Association is an excellent place to make new friends with similar interests, learn new skills and enjoy Heavy Horses. No prior knowledge of horses is necessary and family groups are particularly welcome.
New members are always welcome. Fees for membership are at present, £12.00 for adult members and £6.00 for junior members (up to the age of 18). Family Membership (2 Adults plus children under 13yrs.) £25. Life Membership, £120.00. Joint life membership is £200.00
